COLORS Restaurant - Detroit, launched in June of 2012, is the Franchise Arm of the Social Enterprise initiated by Restaurant Opportunities Centers United (ROC United) out of New York.
COLORS Detroit is governed by the Mothering Unit of ROC Michigan (ROC-MI) which a subsidiary or ROC United. Our Mission is to construct the operational platform which will create more High Road Employers that attend to the needs of Restaurant Workers by providing a dignified work environment and a sustainable living wage.
What We Do
COLORS provides quality training to both Industry Professionals and Newcomers so that both may excel within this challenging environment. We provide the model and the proving ground for existing and potential High Road Employers by leading through example.
Additionally, we work to create a Highly Efficient Restaurant Worker, by providing advanced skills training and certifications which they use to secure positions with vetted High Road Employers within the Industry.
